To our loyal and steadfast employees and customers,

After much consideration, it is with regret that we will not be rebuilding Pizza by Stout.  It has been our great privilege to have been blessed with the greatest restaurant staff anywhere and wonderful customers, all of whom will be missed greatly.

Thanks for the memories and God bless you all,

Now on Tap! Lagunitas Brown Sugga and Samuel Adams Noble Pils

posted Jan 14, 2011, 1:22 PM by Joy Stout

We have two seasonals back on tap for 2011:

Lagunitas Brown Sugga:
"Brown Shugga was originally a failed attempt to make our Olde GnarlyWine Ale way back in 1997. Boatloads of Brown Sugar were added to the boil in an attempt to rescue the batch. The result was quite different from the Olde GnarlyWine we were looking for, but the Accidental Release of Brown Shugga that year was the beginning of an annual rampage caused by a beer that follows no style guidelines and can best be described as.... Irresponsible.
Cheers!"

Samuel Adams Noble Pils:

"Samuel Adams® Noble Pils is brewed with all 5 Noble hops for a distinct hop character and fresh taste. Deep golden in color with a citrusy hop aroma, Samuel Adams Noble Pils is a traditional Bohemian Pilsner. The honeyed malt character from traditional Bohemian malt is balanced by delicate yet pronounced citrus, floral, and piney notes from the Noble hops. The winner of our 2009 Beer Lover's Choice® election, this beer was chosen by over 67,000 drinkers for its crisp complexity and refreshing taste."

January Pint of the Month: Dark Side of the Moon

Dark, frothy Guinness floating on a base of Blue Moon.

December Pint of the Month: Newcastle Brown Ale

posted Dec 3, 2010, 2:32 PM by Joy Stout   [ updated Dec 19, 2010, 12:19 PM ]

An English classic, Newcastle Brown Ale will be our special during the entire month of April. For those of you who aren't familiar with the brew, Newcastle is a lightly hopped, brown ale. The dark malts give it a roasted flavor, but the lightness of the hops makes it smooth and drinkable.

This month we're breaking with the status quo a bit and having three Pints of the Month to celebrate the German festival of Oktoberfest.  We're carrying three different Oktoberfest style beers on draught for the same low price:

Warsteiner Oktoberfest

Samuel Adams Octoberfest

Beck's Oktoberfest

September Pint of the Month: Beck's Oktoberfest

posted Sep 4, 2010, 7:28 AM by Joy Stout   [ updated Sep 4, 2010, 7:30 AM ]

This month at Pizza by Stout we're celebrating the cooler weather and the approach of fall with our September POTM  Beck's Oktoberfest.  One of three Oktoberfest-style beers that we have on tap for this fall, Beck's Oktoberfest has a "distinctive malty-sweet flavor and amber color" that make it a delightful change of pace from our two other delicious Oktoberfest beers.
